YABT
Haiti is a Non Profit Organization operating in Haiti.
It is a branch of "YABT
Headquarters' Office in Washington DC".
YABT HAITI is particularly dedicated to the promotion,
the development, the implementation of the Business Lab
project and other development programs here in Haiti.
Through a series of follow-up programs such as the Nex
Links, YABT in DC will evaluate the progress made in the
areas in which we intervened.
It also tends to work on specific and reality-adapted programs on Business Training, Entrepreneurship Development, Leadership Improvement and Technological Awareness.
Actually, YABT HAITI has two main branches that will, partly, support and sustain its work:

The "Business
Institute" that
operates in Tourism, SME, the Informal Sector, Tips
and Fairs... And, all related fields that can be covered.

The "Information
Technology Institute" that
operates in e-Business, e-Consulting, Applied Technology,
Tips and Advice... And, all related fields that can
be covered.

The idea of implementing YABT activities
in Haiti started since the year of 2005 within the framework
of the realization of the Foro of the “Young
Entrepreneurs of the Americas” held
in Argentina from August 10th – 12nd 2005 in preparation
of the Summit of the Americas of the OAS held the same

| Mission |
As an NPO, YABT Haiti
aims to challenge individuals, especially business owners,
entrepreneurs, college students and high school drop-outs…,
through business training, leadership awareness and technology exposure - with a
market oriented prospect - in order to transform and make
them more competitive in the business world today.

| Strategies |
For a successful implementation of the YABT programs in Haiti and to assure their sustainability, many strategies are being developed. Among them are the following:

Develop an effective multi-stakeholder partnership - public, private, organizational - to assure a continuous support of the program in Haiti.

Seek short and long-term solutions to the global challenge of youth unemployment and poverty reduction among them through entrepreneurship, leadership and technology.

Identify local and national initiatives within the target line of YABT mission in order to develop strategic alliances with them.

Organize a variety of open dialogues (both online
and on-site), press conferences, Media Shows (TV, Radio, Webcast), open days
activities into the universities, the organizations,
in public area... to promote the " YABT
Haiti Projects & Activities".

Promote entrepreneurial spirit, leadership awareness and technological culture among young people in Haiti.

Develop a mentorship and Internship program to accompany the young business leaders and entrepreneurs and the general work of YABT Haiti.

Support some administrative
costs of YABT Haiti with the net income from our " Training
Institute".
